Hello & welcome to The SHE Changes Approach: The Point of Change blog and podcast. If you have found your way here it is because you are seeking change on some level, or are curious about a new approach to dealing with life and having more of what you do want show up for you ~ in easier ways than you currently imagine…
I believe too many people are living in misery and despair, stuck and frustrated with the circumstances of their life, feeling powerless to do anything about it – it is time that changed!
Point of Change Coaching has grown out of my own suffering and challenges through life. It is a synthesis of the coaching, training and principles of life success I have been drawn to, on my own journey ~ to try and make sense of my life and place in the world. Having had enough of efforting and struggling through life, of the tumultuous paths leading nowhere, I got tired and fed up with striving but never arriving at destinations unknown…. So I decided it was time to pick up the reins of my life, to start trusting myself and evolve the work I am called to do. This is the empowerment I want for you too.
The Point of Change and The SHE Changes Approach are designed to be a catalyst for change, on a personal and wider level. A catalyst that ignites a light in you so bright that you have no option but to pay attention to that which is calling you forward. My work is for people who are ready to be more of who they are, do more of the work that calls to them, and create more fulfilment in their daily lives.
Point of Change Coaching started out as a book. Being written at the end of an era of misery in my life. An era that felt endless, hopeless and pointless, tinged with deep sorrow and disaster. If truth be told, this was a self-perpetuating story I had subscribed to for far too long, and life gave me a hard stop. A final wake up call that had me questioning not just my life but my existence.
Thing is, I had dug myself a trench and got stuck in it. Nothing to do with being only 5ft tall! This was an emotional trench, one borne out of feeling insignificant and failing to trust and believe in myself when it was most important – at the cusps of change in my life.
Cusps of change… those points in life where we have a choice to play it safe and do more of the same, or take that leap of faith, follow that urge to be more, do more and have more of what we do want in life. To grow and expand into who we are becoming, and what we are called to. I am sure you know what I mean.
Those points in time that challenge and test us, that push us against the wall, those repeating patterns with the same disheartening ending, over and over.
Those are our opportunities, The Points Of Change, that offer themselves to us saying:
~ ‘So, do you want more of the same? Or something better?’
~ ‘Are you going to continue to play small & safe?’
~ ‘Or step into your power? Your divine right to be and become more of who you truly are?’
There are so many dynamics around this. Psychology might have us delve deeper into the why’s and the history of it all. Yet, coaching takes a different starting point, starting with where we are now, and moves forward toward what is wanted. Yes there may be a need to heal aspects of the past, and for those who want to go there we can.
Yet to get a hold of the reins of life, back in control of our life and how we show up in it, the first thing we need to do is be aware of what isn’t working, what is creating our despair and frustration… To tell ourselves the truth.
It is easier than you might imagine, and less painful than efforting on. I know you know what isn’t working in your life, so I invite you to take the time to pause and reflect, then ask yourself some powerful questions, such as:
What do I really want:
From my Life?
For my Self?
For my Health?
For my Future?
Take the time to enquire within, to connect to yourself and your desires. Tune in to that small voice within that is always shining a light for you… WRITE your answers down! The first point of manifestation is when thought is amplified and becomes a more tangible form – we will talk more of this in future blogs and podcasts.
Don’t let this exercise scare you, if that feels too much of a stretch, and triggers resistance (we will talk more of that too!) or disbelief in you, then be gentler with yourself… Ask yourself softly,
What would I prefer instead?
Take the time to write that down too. What is revealed whenever you take time for self reflection and deeper enquiry may surprise you. Over the weeks together we will delve deeper into this.
There is always an easier way forward. It is our job to tune in to what we want ~ what we prefer ~ to listen within, then take aligned actions, not effort, toward it.

How you can better influence the points of change in your day and your life, so you can get more of the results you do want.
